(Listing for Plant Only,Shop Pots and Planters)Full | Soft | CuteRabbit’s foot ferns are named after their substantially fuzzy rhizomes, which resemble rabbit feet! These spread all along the ground underneath the delicate fronds, providing a highly aesthetic contrast in texture and color so that the rest of the plant can really pop in your home.Depending on the size of the pot you place them in, rabbit’s foot ferns can grow to a substantial 3 or 4 feet in diameter (which looks incredible in a hanging planter). The rhizomes will mostly stick to the surface of the soil, as their purpose is to absorb water and nutrients from the surface. Remove any dead ones! The fronds will continue to grow and spread wherever possible, resulting in a beautifully lush foliage.Lighting:Bright, indirect light.Water:Keep soil moist, but do not allow for standing water. Water once the top inch has dried out. Mist the foliage often.Soil/Potting:Plant in a well draining soil in a container with a drainage hole and made of slightly porous material like ceramic or sealed concrete. Repot annually or when plant exhibits discoloration without the presence of any mis-watering habits.Fertilize:Fertilize monthly with bacterial inoculant.Temperature:Room temp (55-85 degrees is ideal). Protect it from harsh fluctuations in temperature particularly in the winter.Toxicity:This plant is non-toxic.Got plant questions? Get in touch – we’d be glad to help!
