Fascinating | Unusual | RewardingRose of Jericho, or Anastatica Hierochuntica, is a very unusual plant with the ability to dry all the way out and then come back to life when placed in moisture! A very fun addition to any plant collection. The brown, dessicated plant will unfurl and turn a vibrant green when placed in water. If it is allowed to dry out, the plant will return to this brown state until it is again placed in moisture. This process can be repeated many times.Lighting:Medium indirectWater:Keep soil very wet, do not allow to dry. Before watering with tap water, let the water sit out overnight to allow the heavier elements in the water to evaporate off as these can damage this plant.Soil/Potting:Plant in an organic potting soil in a container with a drainage hole and made of slightly porous material like ceramic.Fertilize:Fertilizing this plant is rarely necessaryTemperature:Room temp, protect from harsh fluctuations in temperature particularly in the winterToxicity:Non-toxic for humans and pets; still definitely not tasty..Got plant questions?
