Plenty of filtered light is important for blooming!Water:Lipstick plants would prefer to be kept on the dry side – they can tolerate drought, but they can’t tolerate over-watering. Always check the soil before watering to make sure it’s mostly dried out, and if you’re ever in doubt, it’s better to wait a little bit than panic and dump water in the soil. Mist daily, or keep in humidity.Soil/Potting:Plant in a rich, organic soil in a container with a drainage hole and made of slightly porous material like ceramic. Repot annually or when plant exhibits discoloration without the presence of any mis-watering habits.Fertilize:Monthly with bacterial inoculant recomended for steady growth and to promote flowering.Temperature:Room temp, protect from harsh fluctuations in temperature particularly in the winter.
