(Listing for Plant Only,Shop Pots and Planters)Vivid | Soft | ElegantFoxtail ferns are much hardier than their appearance would suggest and are actually a little drought tolerant, which makes this the perfect compromise for people who want a the soft look of a fern but aren’t ready to commit to a more full care routine!Foxtail ferns are named after the soft brown little “foxtails” that grow at their base (don’t remove these!). Their stems are covered in pine-needle like leaves that are very soft to the touch, leading many to mistakenly believe that this plant is delicate. It continues to grow in the same shape, elongating its stems and fluffing out its mass larger and larger.Lighting:Bright, indirect light.Water:Water once top 3″ of soil has dried out. Mist frequently, and mist the soil when you do.Soil/Potting:Plant in a well draining soil in a container with a drainage hole and made of slightly porous material like ceramic or sealed concrete. Repot annually or when plant exhibits discoloration without the presence of any mis-watering habits.Fertilize:Fertilize monthly with bacterial inoculant.Temperature:Room temp (55-85 degrees is ideal). Protect it from harsh fluctuations in temperature particularly in the winter.Toxicity:This plant is toxic to humans and pets.
